The Early Days

Romilt London began as a school project, inspired by the fascinating intersection of fashion and psychology. What started as an idea between two jewellery-loving students quickly grew into a vibrant brand filled with curiosity, passion, and ambition.

Our early journey was exhilarating. We ventured into the world with pop-up stores in South Korea, collaborations with artists, and participation in countless London markets. These moments were a blend of joy and challenge—meeting customers who loved our designs, enduring freezing weather, and even facing mishaps like stolen products and storm-damaged stalls.

Despite the struggles, we were deeply connected to our vision. We believed in creating jewellery that carried a message of beauty and positivity.

A Turning Point

In 2019, the world changed. The pandemic forced us to pause all offline activities, giving us an unexpected opportunity to reflect on the brand and its direction.

During this time, I realised how little I truly needed in life. I began decluttering, donating, and selling unused items, embracing a minimalist lifestyle that brought clarity and focus.


As a brand, our early years had been about experimentation - designing many products to test the market, listening to feedback, and constantly iterating. While this process was valuable, it left us with overwhelming inventory and significant pressure.

Then, life threw another curveball. I lost almost everything, forcing me to rebuild from scratch - redesigning, rethinking, and restarting.


But I chose to see this as an opportunity - a chance to align the brand with the minimalist philosophy that had become a cornerstone of my life.

Embracing Minimalism

Returning to our essence doesn’t mean going back to the beginning. It’s about embracing what we’ve learned through moments of joy and hardship.


As the original founder, I want Romilt London to be more than just a jewellery brand. I want it to be a way to connect with you, to inspire, and to share moments of joy and meaning.

This minimalist approach also shapes how we operate:

  • We’ve reduced offline activities, advertising, and high-commission platforms to keep costs low.
  • Our pricing reflects honesty and accessibility, not competition.

This choice comes with trade-offs—our brand may not be as widely known, and profits are limited. But for us, success isn’t about profit margins; it’s about creating something meaningful.
